Show Day!

I slept in quite a bit. Figured that was the best thing I could do. However, early in the morning the person in the room next to me blasted rap music. Very much disrupted my sleep, and it lasted a long time. So I was on and off again sleeping for quite a while.


Once I did get up, I drank my water, and then I started to move around. I also ate a protein bar for breakfast. Then after hanging around the room a while, I went down to the gym at 2:15pm. Here is what I did -

  • Cardio - 30 minutes - 2.29 miles [All at 0 incline unless otherwise noted] (2min at 6mph, 1min at 3.8mph, 2min at 6.5mph, 1min at 3.8mph, 2min at 6mph, 1min at 3.8mph, 2 min at 6.5mph, 1min at 3.8mph, 2min at 6mph, 2min at 3.8mph, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 2min at 3.8mph at 0 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 5 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 2min at 3.8mph at 0 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 0 incline.)
However, right as I finished that my workout got interrupted... I got a call that they were ready for us to sound check. So I ran down to the theater and I did that, then I turned around and went back to the gym. It was not easy to get back motivated after that break. And the weights seemed really hard. But here is what I did for the rest of my workout - 

  • Weights - Circuit - 500 movements total - 25 bench presses with two 20lb free weights, 25 sit ups, 25 tricep extensions with a 20lb free weight, 25 bent leg reverse kicks on the right, 25 bent leg reverse kicks on the left. 
  • Cardio - 15 minutes - .94 miles (1min at 3.8mph, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 2min at 3.8mph at 0 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 5 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 2min at 3.8mph at 0 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 4 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 3 incline, 1min at 3.8mph at 0 incline.)

All and all I'd say I did a pretty good job working out today. I went back to my room and I had a little after workout snack of a Fiber One Brownie. I was still really hungry after that, but I figured I'd have a little more in an hour or two. 

I got showered and started to get ready for the show. By 6:45pm, I stopped to have a protein bar, then I continued to get ready for the show. I met my Dad at his room at 7:45pm, and we were escorted down to the theater.

I finally got to eat some real food when I got backstage! I ate a couple unwiches (sandwiches without bread - slice of turkey, slice of tomato and some onion, and a little mayo), a banana, and a few grapes. It was yummy! Then we did our show at 8:30pm. It went great! And signing went great as well! The crowd was wonderful!

I finally got back to my room just before midnight, and I got ready for bed. Home tomorrow!
